It's not been long at all for Jamie since he's been here - though it feels longer, with everything that's happened since.
It's an odd feeling, being back after a week and not a year or ten. And the nagging thought of the upcoming attack on Them doesn't help. (Nor does the still-aching wound in his arm, come to that, though it's significantly better than it was.)
Still, there aren't many problems that aren't improved with the application of good chips and a milkshake, and that's what Jamie is applying his attention to at the moment. Everything else can wait.
