He remembers wondering what these things were, last year, and being explained their use, to his own great embarrassment.

Guppy thinks back to his birdwatching expeditions as a child (albeit relatively few, since they're not his thing), and pretends not to see Teja or be looking in anything close to his direction.

"Why are you distributing those things again?" Teja asks.

Now Guppy looks up.

"It's nearly Valentine's day." he says. "I thought people might need some. You're welcome to help yourself."

...That would be a box of condoms, yes it would.

Billy looks at it for a minute, and then around to see who it belongs to.

Guppy keeps looking studiously at his work, in case he puts Billy off.

Billy's old enough to help himself if he wants to, far as he knows.

Billy doesn't have any use for them; mostly he seems bemused. When he spots Guppy, though, he asks: "D'you know what's up with these?"

"They're free to a good home." Guppy says. "Help yourself if you want some."

Charlie is finding the sudden explosion of condoms into the bar mildly odd. He's used to using them, of course, and it doesn't disconcert him that they've shown up here.... But is wondering why.

"You have a box of condoms beside you. Trying to branch out, or is there an orgy planned I don't know about?"

"It's for a Valentine's day related Health Promotion exercise." Guppy says. "I started giving them out early because Frogspawn doesn't want them in the house."

Charlie makes a slightly amused noise of assent, tucking his hands in his pockets. "This seems to be a popular idea lately."
