Number of condoms Guppy acquired to give out around valentine's day: 500.
Number dumped on Scarlet to give out: 100
Number dumped on Sparrow to distribute on other worlds: 75

Guppy has decided that he should probably start getting on with this before Valentine's day if he has any hope of getting rid of the remaining 325. This decision was not at all influenced by the fact that he was sitting in the living room at home looking in the box thoughtfully at the moment when the health visitor came around this afternoon.
In the end he decides that the easiest thing to do is to just put the box on the next table, with the words 'Please help yourself' on the side, and a little drawing of a valentine's day heart with a smiley face on.
He's keeping half an eye on the box in case any small children come along, but pretending not to be in case people are shy. He busies himself in his clinic notes and makes a mental note not to try talking these plans through with someone sensible next time.
