She was no longer wanted where she was, so she returned.

That is perfectly fine, because Demyx is happy for her return and is working on building up power to make her real again as well.

For now, he pulls out his sitar and plays music for her.

Billy hears the music, and he noticed her leaving. He's staring at Demyx, somewhat wearily.

Demyx looks up and catches Billy's eye.

He doesn't look angry, or upset at him. He just looks completely impassive before going back to his music.
