Chuck came into the bar expecting nothing more than to have a quick cup of tea before returning to Christmas preparations at the Pie Hole, but when she sat down, a brown paper package (and note) materialized beside her drink of choice.

She couldn't help but exclaim her glee, feeling her heart burst with cheer as she opened her gift, so that once she was finished with her tea, she hugged the book to her chest and left the bar - and back into Ned's kitchen.

A few hours later, she returns with two green-coloured boxes, each tied up with red ribbon. In them are a selection of different flavoured cup pies - freshly baked from the Pie Hole. Accompanying each box is a small card.

Dear Dr Jekyll,

The book is so lovely, thank you! I'm going to start reading it tonight!
I do hope you'll enjoy these in return. They're called cup pies, and are a special at the Pie Hole (where I work). I hope to see you soon!
Have a very Merry Christmas!

- Chuck

Dear Al,

It has been quite a while, but I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas - or whatever holiday you may celebrate! I hope you'll like these! They're called 'cup pies'.

- Chuck

The boxes are left with the Bar, with a request to keep them fresh for as long as possible - until the recipients come to pick them up.

And then, because there is still so much to do back home, Chuck exits the bar once more.
