Today, Bob is looking considerably more cheerful (and less toaster-y) than the last time he was seen in Milliways. He's even humming a little to himself as he strolls in and drops a small stack of VidWindows on the bartop.
"Could you convert those to CD format and give them to the people they're addressed to, Bar?"
The windows disappear. Presumably that can be taken as a 'yes.'
"Thanks. Merry Christmas."
Everyone on Bob's list is getting a mix CD with a neatly printed track list. At first glance, the songs appear to be typical rock n' roll fare. Upon closer inspection, however, one finds that the bands all have names like "RAMones" and "Cray Instability," and the lyrics of the songs themselves are similarly geared toward living in a digital world.
All of Bob's friends have made an effort to share their worlds with him. He thinks it's only fair if he shares back.
