As far as Kim is concerned, it's only been about a week since she was last here. Nevertheless, when she ducks in, the waitrats usher her back into the kitchen to ply her with food as if she hasn't eaten in the two weeks since they last saw her. (And if it comes to that, she hasn't eaten much in the intervening week -- certainly not as well as she does here.)

Shortly afterwards, she's out in the bar proper -- fed, well-scrubbed, and equipped with a tray to clear tables.
