Standard script: "You're new. Welcome to Milliways." Sounds better coming from someone at ease with strangers. I, on the other hand, sit at my place at the bar, glancing on and off at the man, wondering if I should be the one to tell him where he is.

(And secretly hoping someone else does the job for me.)

Scowling, Epimetheus strides over the bar, glancing around. He doesn't look lost -- just frustrated.

"There a bartender on duty?" he asks Paul.

"No."

"Hell." He runs a hand through his hair. "D'you suppose they'd mind if I helped myself?"

Demeter sees him enter and her breath just stops for a moment, a Titan. Her drink gets held quite tightly as she walks over in barefoot feet and an elegant dress to curtsy at him,

"Hello."

Epimetheus double-takes, and automatically returns her curtsy with a slight bow.

"Demeter. Ah -- hello, cousin."

It's been a while since he's seen much of his family.

The same is true for Demeter but this place has changed things,

"The tea is lovely here and I believe the whiskey too though I haven't tried it."

He smiles, a little.

"I've had more tea in the last month than any man truly needs. A drop of whiskey would do me good, I think."

Doors slamming is jarring on a poor girl's nerves!

They cause Satine to yelp and spin around in her seat.

"M'sieu, I'll ask you not to--" She gets to her feet, ready to use her full height on him, when--

--oh. Her full height seems to not be enough.

"Oh," Satine breathes, a bit taken aback. That hasn't happened in quite some time.

He blinks down at her, and then essays a slight bow.

"Ah -- pardon me, mademoiselle. I wasn't expecting this place."

And he's not entirely pleased to be here, from his tone, but it's better than where he was.

Well. At least he has manners.

"What, might as I ask, were you expecting?"

Taller than her. And she's even in heels too.

He sighs, and replies, "Most likely some disgruntled Englishmen wanting to know how I've fouled things up with the Japanese this time."

On one hand, Epimetheus her cousin her friend family she loves and laughs with and she doesn't mind being mocked, really, even if her crimson dress hugs a corset that is far, far too tight.

On the other hand (tall dark hair), he sounds annoyed.

And so the Gorgon, hair swept up to show the slinky black snakes, is still and still as she watches.

He walks right past her.

--Halts, and turns.

"Medusa?"

He sounds a little uncertain -- and a good deal less annoyed.

She smiles back, quick and uncertain. The cat slit pupils of her eyes are dilated, but it's always been hard to tell.

"Bonjour," the Gorgon says, ignoring her fight with the Bar's magic over French vs English.

"Bon soir," he replies. "You, ah -- look well."

Really, she looks uncomfortable.
