Demeter sees him enter and her breath just stops for a moment, a Titan. Her drink gets held quite tightly as she walks over in barefoot feet and an elegant dress to curtsy at him,

"Hello."

Epimetheus double-takes, and automatically returns her curtsy with a slight bow.

"Demeter. Ah -- hello, cousin."

It's been a while since he's seen much of his family.

The same is true for Demeter but this place has changed things,

"The tea is lovely here and I believe the whiskey too though I haven't tried it."

He smiles, a little.

"I've had more tea in the last month than any man truly needs. A drop of whiskey would do me good, I think."

"Whiskey then, where do you like it from?"

[2020sight]

"Ireland, if you please."

He puts his hands in his pockets, looking her over. "You're looking well, Demeter. Is it summer?"

"She came home today."

The Bar is lovely and wonderful in Demeter's opinion so orders their whiskey, watching it appear.

"How wonderf--"

He blinks as the whiskey appears on the countertop -- via dumbwaiter, but without any apparent assistance from a bartender.

"Now, that's new."

"Yes, something happened to make her shift along with everyone's clothing. I do like my dress,tne yellow is nice though the shoes pinched."

"Uncomfortable seems to be the style in Europe nowadays," he replies gravely. "It's enough to make me want to go East. The dress quite suits you, though."

He picks up a glass, holding the whiskey up to the light. "Did you say 'her'?"

"Yes, it appears the Bar is sentient. Thank you, its not what I normally wear but its nice."

"I believe that's new as well. Odd. I didn't think it'd been so long since I'd visited." He glances at Demeter. "Do you know what year it is for you?"

"2008, I think."

[2020sight]

"--Really? Perhaps that's it, then. Well."

Smiling, he lifts his glass to her. "Cheers. To spring, eh?"

"To Spring."

She lifts her glass and takes a drink,

"Have you been here often, I only found it last week?"

After his own sip: "Ah -- often enough to know the lay of the land. Or," he amends, glancing around the bar again, "think I know it, at any rate. You really only found it in 2008?"
