That looks like it must have hurt, Will's still in a good mood and has been reading Kate's history book so gets up to help the man,

"I don't know where I am. Not too well." He says quickly, looking blankly at the man before him. The fall was fine. He's had much worse injuries.

Medieval history book, even better. Still, he doesn't care what the man is wearing or anything of that sort. He cares about where he is, how he's here, and where the hell Branca is.
