(Right before falling through the door...)He's at the station, heading towards the lower platform where he can see light flashes coming from through a crack in the door and hears Branca's voice. Just as he opens the door, he trips ( Read more... )

That looks like it must have hurt, Will's still in a good mood and has been reading Kate's history book so gets up to help the man,

"Sir, are ye well?"

"I don't know where I am. Not too well." He says quickly, looking blankly at the man before him. The fall was fine. He's had much worse injuries.

The man before him looks like he stepped out of a medieval history book,

"Ye're in Milliways, sir, are ye good to stand up or should I be gettin' a physician?"

Medieval history book, even better. Still, he doesn't care what the man is wearing or anything of that sort. He cares about where he is, how he's here, and where the hell Branca is. "Well, that doesn't help at all. I'm fine, really." He says bluntly. The no shame thing doesn't help when you're trying to make friends.

"Oh, yeah? The End of the Universe? Doesn't happen to be controlled by the Osmonds, does it?" Cause it's sounding a little Cyril like. Nevertheless, he gets up on his own and looks around. The drink can wait till he finds out what's going on.

Will gestures first to the Window, then to a seat since the man will probably need it afterwards,

"Na sure who the Osmonds are, sir, but think the Landlord controls things."

"Of coarse." He says, slightly sarcastically as his eyes follow the man's hand to the window. It's looks explosive and slightly Hollywood FX too. Further making David uncomfortable and suspicious. "What are you trying to pull here?"

"Naught, sir, tis just Milliways."

He tenses a little at that, he's introduced a lot of new people to the Bar, but being an outlaw means his default his more defensive.

"You actually expect me to believe this? Is this some kind of sick joke? Let see how far we can push the crazy guy?" Because it wouldn't be the first time people have underestimated him since the whole ordeal passed. Plus, he's already distressed and grumpy from the horrible dreams that won't let him sleep.

"Nay, sir, tisna a jest I promise ye. I mean ye na 'arm an dinna e'en know who ye are."

Will holds his hands palm up and waits to see what the man will do next, he'll fight him if there's a need but would rather not.

He sighed and put a hand to his head, trying to make sense of this. David could sense when someone was sincere and the man seemed sincere. It just shouldn't make sense to anyone who's sane, right? "How?"

"Door's open to Milliways, sir, from all times an places an it sits on the edge some'ow. Time stops on the other side o'yer door too, 'as a magic o'its own."

He just doesn't want to hear it, believe it. "How do I go back?" Because he has family and a job back home waiting for him.

"I maybe be crazy, but I'm not blind. The door's right there." He said, pointing to back to it.
