And this, of course, is when Raven reaches out and attempts to tug Moiraine into the booth he is currently occupying.
It is a very comfortable booth.

"You could have just asked," she points out, even as she resists being tugged.
"Good evening, Raven."

Raven makes a face at her.
It is a very squished kind of face.
"That, I think, would be boring. So."

"And Light forfend that you be bored, is that it?"
She's still resisting, albeit with a faint smile on her face.

"Mostly, yes."
He grins, wide and bright and irrepressible.
"Possibly you are for agreeing?"
He tugs again, not much harder than before.
Maybe she is holding out for tea?

"I do not believe that I have said I disagree, have I?"
She arches an eyebrow at him, and finally allows herself to be drawn.
"How are matters with you?"

"They are mostly well, I think."
He grins, sliding over to give her more room to sit.
Slightly more room, at least.
She is very comfy to lean against.
"Also Spoon is back. So."
He is ignoring the part about her not disagreeing. It is boring, too.
Perhaps.

She settles gracefully into her seat, and does not appear to be disturbed by his close presence.
"Is it so? Ace must be pleased, I would think."

"Mostly."
Raven huffs out a sharp breath.
"There is a wife, now. It is irritating."
Something bright and sharp flashes in Raven's eyes.
It might be flame.

A pause.
A long pause, for that matter.
"... what?"

Raven does not look any less annoyed.
"Yes."
He huffs out another breath.
"She is twelve, I think, yes? Still."

This does not appear to help matters at all, judging by the Aes Sedai's frown.
"I would hear more of this."

Raven shrugs, leaning more comfortably against Moiraine.
"Years are tricky things, perhaps. Still. She is not so happy, I do not think."
This is, quite obviously, a very large problem.
Steps will have to be taken.

"The wife, or Ace?"
Although she has her suspicions.
Absently, Moiraine braces herself against the seat in order to support his weight. Clay is often heavy.

"Possibly both? The wife is not so much here, I do not think."
Raven reaches around Moiraine to tug her towards him.
It will give her more leverage.
Or something.
"So."

"Raven." She sounds stern.
"I am not some sort of doll, to be handled so."
A pause.
"If she is not here, then where is she? Not back in Yorkshire, I should hope?"
