She has noticed the increased animal presence in the bar, to be certain; in fact, it is difficult to miss.
It also makes it difficult to study. As a result, when Moiraine descends the stairs this evening, there are no books in sight.
It appears that the Aes Sedai may be taking something of a break from her studies -- which have grown to occupy more and more of her time and attention, of late.
(Something is changing, she knows; she can feel that much, in a way that is difficult for her to explain. It is only that she does not yet know what.)
