He hasn't seen anything larger than a housecat in ways of felines. So the big cat gets a startled reaction, by way of him almost falling out of his chair and clutching his chest.
"But it was fun!" Possibly, lionesses are even worse at sounding sincerely innocent than Ajedrez is, which is saying something. But, ah, yes. Scratching.
She moves her head into his hand, for all the world just like any other cat.
"Lioness...the males have...manes..." She would point to the other lion in Bar, but he's scratching behind her ear and cats are cats and oh, that feels good.
"Yeah, I don't think you can really prepare yourself for a sudden change like that. I guess walking around with a set of clothes on hand wouldn't be easy."
Logically, that'd be the only real worry he'd have if he were inadvertently changed into a lion.
