George had finally managed to get his helmet back and yet again was going to attempt to return back to Holland...

...that was before the seemingly familiar woman entered into the room. Maybe she was one of the nurses? or just someone from Holland?

Whoever she was the Easy Company radioman and resident funny man could just not place a name to that familiar face.

She turns and smiles at him, remembrance in her expression. That night, what seemed like long ago where they'd seen one another. That dance...

She blushes faintly and finds a table.

That dance..in Aldbourne, England before they shipped out for D-day. "F-Faye," Luz croaks highly unexpecting to see the pretty woman again and half expectning Allison to jump out of a corner and say something.

Thus the reasons that George is blushing bright red and hurridly making his way towards her. "I..you...Welcome to Milliways.."

She turns to him again, smiling up at him with a sad sort of happiness at his approach.

"George? Oh, George, is it really you? And this place... I thought it looked different than the last time, but I didn't know you were back!"

"Yes. It's me, doll face." Luz couldn't help but give his trademark lopsided smile, reaching a hand up to hook stray hands of hair back behind her ear.

Shaking his head the paratrooper was finding it had to speak for the moment. What was Faye doing here? She was supposed to be back safe in England unless Colonel Sink had approved her to be an aide in Holland. "We're still out on the line. Please tell me that Sink doesn't have you in Holland. It's to dangerous."

She nods, a little nervous. She hadn't wanted to worry him, but she had to help! She couldn't stay there in England, protected. She had to do something, anything! Especially if it meant--

"Everything's dangerous nowadays. At least in Holland, I can be of some use."

At least she wasn't some secretly trained female paratrooper or some future girl somehow sent back into time to the 1940's by a crazed man wanting to be her boyfriend to England in the middle of WWII right?

Well George had no idea aside from the fact he did not like Faye being so close to the front line. "I'll talk to Winters and maybe he can get you back to England. Maybe Sink can get his papers typed up from there?"

She shakes her head.

"I don't want to go back to England," she says, her voice steady. "How could you think I want to go back to England when you're not there?"

Reaching up George carefully cuped her face in his hands, staring into her oh so pretty eyes. "Okay, okay.. I won't say anything to Winters. Or Sink." He has to force himself to say it with every inch of will power.

"Where were you coming in from? Milliways has a habit of catching anyone off guard when they are least expecting it.." Within a second George is back to smiling that goofy little grin of his. "First drink is free though you can use my tag any time, sweetie."

"I'll remember that," she says. "Though I can pay my own way. I just won't let you look like an ill-mannered louse over it."

And she laughs, just a little.

"And I was just going out for the evening to this little place nearby. Nothing important."

"Doll, you know I don't mind doing it at all." The little laugh meets twinkling eyes from the radioman. He's all about to say in his mind, Allison who? Faye is here. His Faye..

"A little place nearby huh? Watch out for those flyboys. Don't want to have to show off my nice lookin jumpboots to them." George winks once, waiving over a waitrat and smiling. "Two cups of tea please. Just the way the lady likes it."
