Riku is outside the bar, in his civvies. He's holding a wooden practice sword, and using it to batter up what seems to be intended to be a person. The contraption is made of sticks and bounds together with what seems to be mummy-like red stripes of cloth.
It's holding together pretty well, but from the looks of it, he'll split it apart soon.

La la la.
He is quite oblivious to Riku right now.

A grin immediately appears on his face and he rushes to see him, stepping over the fallen branch, waving.
"Hey, Riku!"

He's a bit pissed right now, and may not make for great company. He should try to attempt for Sora, but sometimes, the fact Sora exists makes him all that more pissed off.
We'll see which way it goes.

When it reaches Riku, the little white cat stops to observe, politely not breaking the silence.

He raises an eyebrow.
"Looking to join the fight, kitty? Or are you just spectating?"

But on which side?
It lifts one white foreleg to paw the air once, slowly, claws extended. Like raking its claws through an invisible curtain.

"I wouldn't even try it," he says. "You couldn't fight this guy, he probably eats kitten."
Or babies.

"Riku!!"

"Hi," he says, sounding tired instead. He smiles at her. "I haven't seen you in awhile."

She's missed him terribly.
And he sounds exhausted. It makes her worry.
Without relinquishing her hold, she looks up at him - searching his face for... something. She's not exactly sure what.
"Hi."

"How's life on the island?" he asks, pitching some cheer into his voice while he hugs back.

A soft voice from somewhere behind him floats through the tense air. It belongs to a blonde-haired girl. There is no sketchpad with her today.
Not sure how she knew, she found her way into the bar because she felt something stirring. She's come to see him because she feels he needs her right now.

He hears the voice, but he's not sure he deserves her presence - but he's had enough of hurting people today. "Hello, Namine," he says, quietly.

"Are you okay?"

It is, for once, an honest answer to that question.
