They're squabbling over something- it looks like a book.

The mun will probably regret this, but there's an ex-soldier with a dog and a baby, sitting at a table somewhere in the bar.

"It's mine stupid. How is it yours? It's story about skeletons! It was a story about demons yesterday! WELL MAYBE YOU'RE JUST CRAZY. MAYBE YOU'RE JUST STUPID! MAYBE YOU BOTH SHOULD SHUT UP AND GO FIND THE OTHER TWO BOOKS WE GOT. WE GOT THREE YOU TWITS!!!" Shock grabs the book out of Lock's hands and thwaps both Lock and Barrel on the hands with it.

This will get ugly.

They're being just a little bit loud, over there.

They've just woken up the baby. And you know what that means.

And insane amount of crying?

Aw. That's too bad.

Not that they care, mind you.

"FINE. AND AFTER WE'LL WHACK YOU OVER THE HEAD-" Lock gets cut off by a very sharp thwack to the noggin.

"That's MY book anyway!" Lock grabs the book and runs. "You go find your own!" He runs in the general direction of Sharpe and the freaking baby.

And there is a raptor, big for the breed, peering curiously at them and thier book. The dinosaur being well backed up by the kid with the staff behind her.

"Whacha got there, short stuffs?"

"Book." The 'Stupid.' is left unsaid. Lock doesn't bother looking up.

Barrel, on the other hand, peers at the dinosaur. "What's that thing?"

"This is Old Lace."

She leans closer, snuffling at the book.

"What's it a book of?"

"None of your business." How rude! Can't you see you're not important?!?!?

"Can I pet him?" Barrel hooks a finger in his bottom lip and reaches a hand out, not quite touching the dinosaur.

“Be careful,” Luna advises dreamily from the sidelines. “It might bite.”

"No it won't." Lock and Barrel pull the book, trying to dislodge it from the other's grasp.

"Look, if it was going to bite us, it would have already." Shock speaks to Luna, but watches her brothers, arms crossed.

“That’s what my Uncle Brian said.”

She smiles a little, and adds vaguely, “Now he has no nose.”

Shock continues to watch the tennis match that is Lock and Barrel, stopping only to scoff at Luna.

"We've got worse scars than a nose bitten off."
