We're going to say remnants because every time she started feeling helpless over the last several hours she stabbed it as hard as she could. So let us edit to say that she has the remnants of a tofu wrap, the remnants of a dozen plates, and the table isn't looking all that steady either.
She isn't crying, though, not right now. She's dry eyed and angry. She's waiting. She's got her ankle bracelet on the table next to her, and while she's jingling it (and her foot) on a regular basis not wearing it means that she has the option of thinking without Whistler knowing where she is.
SHATTER. Make that a baker's dozen broken plates, with a new one brought by a fairly timid looking rat.
