At one side of the bar is Guppy, who is looking after Jack Manackle whilst Shufti eats her dinner a little way away.
Guppy is currently reading to Jack from the only material he had on him (A leaflet of basic first aid procedures), but since the baby doesn't understand most of the things that are read to him anyway he doesn't appear bored by the subject choice.
Shufti isn't prepared to let Jack out of her sight for a moment, so she is relaxing nearby.
