Double pup post

There comes a time in every girl's life when she has to make a double-pup post. This is sadly one of those times.

By the lake a teenager woman stretched to the last rays of a setting sun. The sense of peace from a bit of light yoga was not to be underestimated, or so Thea would say.

Inside the Bar, Kaye Fierch is doggedly pushing half melted ice-

Ichigo, fresh from home, strolls into the bar in his usual Shinigami uniform. He looks thoughtful for a moment, but the look passes when he catches sight of Kaye. He smiles, just a little bit, and makes his way over towards her.

"Not green today?" He asks, taking a seat beside her. "No wings either?"

"Only in spirit." She assures him glumly, eyes tilting upwards to greet him.

"Not evil today?" It's purely a precaution and the way her smile turns (only a tad evil) it's obvious she's joking.

[kurosakiboy]

"Don't think so, despite efforts by some."

He orders a chocolate milkshake, glad his head is clear today. Maybe it was the fresh air, maybe it was seeing his friends, but something has him feeling better right now.

[ironside_pixie]

"Someone wants you to go all soulless and creepy?" Kaye points her eyebrows in his general direction.

There is definite eyeing of his milkshake. Her ice-cream wasn't that good anyway.

His milkshake! All his! He sips it, not noticing the way she is eyeing his treat.

"I...not exactly, I don't think. But I met some guy who's like me. He had a Hollow mask, except he didn't put it on, and he didn't seem crazy like I was."

[ironside_pixie]

"Sounds like a pain in the ass." She pokes at her dessert again, discontent. It's pretty easy not to look at him, makes not worrying about him a lot easier.

The spoon clangs off the bowl, sending a jarring note into the air.

"Got any plans on dealing with him?" Kaye worried anyway.

[kurosakiboy]

"Not really. He wanted me to join his little group, but I said no and then took off. Something weird was happening tonight, but I never found out what..."

He sips his drink again, thinking over the nights events again.

[ironside_pixie]

"Trailing off in the middle of sentences is not advised." Kaye catches her lip between her teeth and bites at it, considering the best form of revenge.

She flicks half-melted vanilla at him.

He wipes a little vanilla from his cheek, eyeing her as he sips his drink.

"Bite me greeny." He replies playfully. "I don't know much, except that this kid is not normal, and not who he seems to be. I'll have to face him tomorrow at school. I'll get answers then."

"Request or order?" Kaye challenges, flipping the spoon up and into her mouth with a practised ease.

Her eyes sparkle with...well the kind of sparkle that should make Ichigo think about that answer very carefully. She has sharp teeth.

He has spent years and years intimidating every girl he's ever met. Except one, but that was because she could kick his ass at karate most of the time. So he does not have the smarts to back down and surrender.

"Dare." He replies snarkily, eyes flashing with challenge.

[ironside_pixie]

Facing down a Faerie Queen of either court does not leave much room for intimidation. Not from an adorable egotistical Shinigami anyway.

"Big mistake." Kaye snatches up his hand practically before the smirk can reach her and nips his wrist sharply.

GO FOR THE VEINS!

This is why he doesn't hang around girls much.

"OW!" He snatches back his arm, watching the blood begin to seep out of the little teeth marks she made. He didn't expect her to go ahead with it, let alone break the skin. "Son of a bitch that hurt!"

He's taken worse, but still! SHE BIT HIM!

The pixie laughs, loudly; abandoned any pretence at ladylikeness(not that she was trying).

She flashed her canines at him in a particularly threatening pose before her hand comes up to cover them. The laughter seeps out.

Poor Ichigo.

HE WANTS REVENGE.

...also, he wants an apology!

"You little...why'd you do that!?"

He can keep on wanting.

"You dared me." His attention is diverted, she snags the milkshake. Or attempts to at least.
