So, why did Molly like arthur to begin with?
Last night, Howl suggested Arthur play to his strengths. Which advice, Arthur took to hurt.
The only problem? He's weak at knowing what his strengths are.
Which explains why he's sitting there with a blank notepad, a quill, and a look of confusion on his face.

...Okay, it's not Molly. It's a young girl in a medieval-style dress, a rectangle of fabric over one arm and a sewing basket held in her opposite hand.
She glances at Arthur as she walks by. Then she stops. He's writing with a quill!
"H-hello, sir!" the young girl says, doing a quick curtsey.

"Erm, Hullo."
Pretty redhead? For the barest moments, he hopes. Then it becomes obvious she isn't. But she's female, and cute. So, Arthur is blushing horribly.

"Are...." Okay, now that she's getting a better look at him she realizes that wizarding fashion is not Westerosi fashion. But she already started to ask the question.
"Are you from the land of Westeros?"
Reply
"Ah, no, sorry. I am from London, England."

When she sees that parchment is blank, she leans in from behind him and and says, "You're supposed to write on it."

He jumps, spilling the ink across the parchment, and then tries to sop it up with the sleeve of his robe.
"Oh, dear!"

With a sigh, she does what she can with the table, but parchment is a total loss.
"Let me see your sleeve."
She's always had a knack for house-holdy types of charms.
"Scourgify!"
Reply
"T-thank you."
There's always more parchment.
