She's trying. Honest she is.

Agnes is in the bar again, specifically, at the bar, working on some bread and cheese and a glass of lemonade.

She's in a fairly decent mood, which means she's unlikely to scream or cry at you. But the question is whether you want to take the chance.

That Bulbasaur's a real risk-taker.

Or not. Still, the girl may notice that there's a turquoise... thing gazing at her from under a nearby table.

It's certainly not any kind of animal she's ever seen before. But if there's one thing the witch has learned, it's that there's a lot more outside of Lancre than she ever imagined.

"Hello?" she says hesitantly.

"Bulba, saur." the creature says quietly. It's not quite certain about this person's mood, but thought it might not hurt to see if she wanted some company.

Agnes' eyes go wide and she grins.

"Well, hello there, little guy... you want some cheese?"

People from the Disc, Mal has found, smell better.

And witches in particular, have that sort of tang to their scent.

So, one vampire, female, but gender line fuzzy, smiling at her.

"Discworld, right?"

She nods and smiles.

"That's right," she says happily. "You too, I... take it?"

The pause happens because somewhere in the back of Agnes' mind, an insistant little thin girl gives a mental poke. That's not a human, Perdita warns.

"Yeah."

A cheerful smile. "It's been a while since I saw someone from..." cocks her head to one side, "Lancre?"

Looks puzzled, now. "Hang on...you're Agnes?"

Bet you didn't think a fat girl could move that fast, did you?

She's off her stool, two steps back, brandishing her knife, and quite possibly growling.

"Back off, bloodsucker. Vlad tell you about me? He tell you you wouldn't be the first one I've dropped, too?"

Angela comes in from the outside, clad in t-shirt and shorts and flip-flops, taking off her sunglasses and hanging them off of her shirt. She climbs onto a barstool and orders a chocolate milkshake.

"Hi," she greets Agnes, with a smile. Mmmmmchocolate.

Agnes gives her a friendly smile in return.

"Hi." Then, she looks at the drink. "What's that?"

"It's a chocolate milkshake. It's heaven in a glass," she says firmly.

A grin. "Want one?"

Well, she's had chocolate, and she's had milk, so this sounds reasonably safe.

"It doesn't have alcohol in it, does it?" she asks cautiously first.

"Hey there."

He hasn't seen her in the bar for a while, and truth to tell, he was really looking forward to hanging out with her more. She's...likeable.

The tightening of her grip on the knife probably isn't noticeable, and even so, it only lasts a second.

"Hey."

"How're you?"

He's trying to be jovial, but there is an undertone of sadness, of longing to his voice.

She shrugs.

"I'm all right," she says simply. "You?"
