She's trying. Honest she is.
Agnes is in the bar again, specifically, at the bar, working on some bread and cheese and a glass of lemonade.
She's in a fairly decent mood, which means she's unlikely to scream or cry at you. But the question is whether you want to take the chance.

And witches in particular, have that sort of tang to their scent.
So, one vampire, female, but gender line fuzzy, smiling at her.
"Discworld, right?"
Reply
"That's right," she says happily. "You too, I... take it?"
The pause happens because somewhere in the back of Agnes' mind, an insistant little thin girl gives a mental poke. That's not a human, Perdita warns.
Reply
A cheerful smile. "It's been a while since I saw someone from..." cocks her head to one side, "Lancre?"
Looks puzzled, now. "Hang on...you're Agnes?"
Reply
She's off her stool, two steps back, brandishing her knife, and quite possibly growling.
"Back off, bloodsucker. Vlad tell you about me? He tell you you wouldn't be the first one I've dropped, too?"
Reply
"Ex-bloodsucker, thanks. And yes, Vlad told me a little."
But there's not just rage in her eyes. Something frightened. She's only eighty-nine.

The point of the knife stays steady, but just below the surface, Agnes is shaking. This is not what she needed today.
Reply
Sighs, shakes her head, sheathing the sword. "I promise. I'm reformed."
This was not what she needed, either. And she looks...sad.
"I'm sorry. I'll go."
Reply
"No, look, it's all right. I'm sorry, too. You... startled me when you knew my name."
Reply
A small smile, or an attempt at one. "You startled me as well. Judging by his...description, I'd thought you might not care."
Reply
"I can just imagine what he'd have to say," she says icily. "So, what's your name, then?"
Reply
"I think he was bragging. I'm younger by a fair bit."
Smiles, offers a hand. "Maladicta. Most call me Mal."
Reply
Agnes shakes Mal's hand.
"So, what exactly does the bloodvine have to say about 'that fat witch'?"
Reply
A quick smile. "Nothing bad. He was rather infatuated."
Reply
"I can do without that sort of infatuation."
