Well, Antigone does, when the crowds thin and she tires of looking at the fire.

Not to mention that the wall is ... considerably more interesting than usual tonight.

She blinks, glancing around for either a puppeteer or someone who is very, very short.

Shriek.

"HU-EEEEEEEEEEE! My iPod is broken!"

A-ko is lounging in a chair, reading a magazine, with a 1950s-style bonnet hairdryer over her head. Possibly she's getting a perm.

It makes her look kind of like a space alien.

"You let the batteries run out," she replies, sounding bored.

Antigone blinks in utter confusion, leaning forward in her seat to peer at the strange display.

The more she glances around to see who is casting the shadows, the more a tiny suspicion begins to grow that there isn't anyone.

"Of course we're not real."

The subject of her mother and manners taught is deftly skirted.

A-ko shoves back her bonnet-style hairdryer to reveal curls topped with an improbably large hairbow. "I can hear you too!"

A-ko seems very proud of this.

She leans forward to stage-whisper, "Because there's no more music."
