That was so lovely D. I have the biggest, cheesiest grin on my face right now thanks to you.

His mother, Matt could see, had just found for him the most adorable Rudolph sweater to try on, and Oh you will look so sweet in it, Alexander!! To make the experience complete, the child began screaming in protest at being forced to try on the sweater in question. Matt didn’t blame him, really; it was quite hideous.

Now there's a sight I'm familiar with. Loved Matt's awkwardness when Alexander came up to him as well. Nice touch.

Dom patted Matt on the shoulder. “No, Matt. Not blue, periwinkle.”

Oh, lord. This... THIS is what I needed in my life right now, haha! Dear, this was brilliant, sweet, and just beyond hilarious. Good God - like frolicandfall said, Matt's bizarre "knight in shining armor" moment was just the highlight of the whole thing. When he went into skin tones, I swear I went into hysterics. So, he has been paying attention to what Dom's said for all those years! XD

And the scarf, of course. Gah. A lovely, simple, sweet device. And, let's face it - I have a major weakness for Matt complimenting Dom's eyes... ;) Love it, love it. This was positively brilliant, and so delightfully yet unconventionally Christmasy! Fantastic stuff, as always. Happy holidays! ♥

Argh, was half-way through commenting on this and IE shut down on me :( So I'll try again LOL.

Have to say that I love, love, loved this fic. I adore fics where Matt and Dom are all coupley and don't care who knows or sees it.

The shopping trip was so funny. I think I would have to agree with Chris though, not sure I could handle a shopping trip with Dom - and that's saying something! XD And then Matt sticking up for Dom in the store - so adorable, and clearly he have been taking fashion tips from dearest Dom :P

Dom was lying next to him, his blonde hair spilling beautifully against his pillow, wearing the silver scarf. His eyes were calm and his expression was one of utter contentment. Honestly, he took Matt’s breath away.

Have to quote that bit. The simple contentment and happiness obvious in these lines is so beautiful.

All in all, brilliant! :D
