That was so lovely D. I have the biggest, cheesiest grin on my face right now thanks to you.

His mother, Matt could see, had just found for him the most adorable Rudolph sweater to try on, and Oh you will look so sweet in it, Alexander!! To make the experience complete, the child began screaming in protest at being forced to try on the sweater in question. Matt didn’t blame him, really; it was quite hideous.

Now there's a sight I'm familiar with. Loved Matt's awkwardness when Alexander came up to him as well. Nice touch.

Dom patted Matt on the shoulder. “No, Matt. Not blue, periwinkle.”

*snorts* It's all in the detail Matthew! Chris was smart to say no. What I really like about this fic is how realistic it all feels. I can so easily picture Matt sulking in a chair whilst Dom flits around a crowded store in search of the next fabulous item.

But he was not about to let some punk be disrespectful to Dom.

“But Dom, because he happens to tan so well, looks, well,” he brushed the hair back from Dom’s brow, “bloody gorgeous in that color.” He raised one eyebrow at Dom’s grinning face before walking back to the counter.

That's certainly the strangest knight-in-shining-armor moment I've ever read. So sweet and sassy and perfect.

*melts* Matt is just so cute and smitten and adorable.

Dom was lying next to him, his blonde hair spilling beautifully against his pillow, wearing the silver scarf. His eyes were calm and his expression was one of utter contentment. Honestly, he took Matt’s breath away.

Perfect way for Dom to show Matt how much he appreciates them.
