Cars know when you're trying to get somewhere important...
Because they give you trouble at the worst times....
I have an awesome track record when it comes to driving in the winter. Snow is my best friend. I wish I could drive in it year round.

I can't seem to go a year in college without having some car trouble and it is for whatever reason centered around Winter Conditions.
Fortunately today, there wasn't a blizzard and so I didn't go careening into a median wall like last time..........Today was Transmission Trouble, pure and simple. It just stopped....good times...
Luckily I wasn't far from School, and got towed back easily. And luckily I got a hold of the one friend that was still in town (he was finishing up packing actually) to give me a ride back to my apartment. And even luckier, I have the best roommate in the universe who flew home and said I could borrow her car over break instead of having my parents drive 4+ hours both ways to pick me up...
Oh, and did I mention that it was in the 20s and I had the fish(tank) with me that shouldn't be colder than 73 degrees? o.O
