Yuletide Letter
Dear Yuletide Writer:
First up, thank for signing up. I know this time of year is hectic, so the fact that someone is taking the time out of their day to write a fic for me is wonderful. :D And since you apparently love at least one of the same obscure fandoms I do makes it even better.
I'm honestly fairly easy to please. My likes and dislikes are fairly general.
Things I love: Fluff; happy domestic/kid fic; hurt/comfort and angst as long as it's balanced out with lots of comfort.
Things I prefer not to get: Graphic sex, kink, super dark fic, non-con, character death.
And now, on to the fandoms!
Spider-Man (Ultimateverse): Jessica Drew
Jessica!Fic, please. She's the most underused character in the USM fandom. I'd especially love to see anything with her finding a family with the Parkers, either post-DOSM or in an AU where it didn't happen. Just no Jess/Peter or Jess/Miles, please!
Pretty much what it says on the tin. Jessica is criminally underused. I'd be happy with just about anything with her as the POV character, but I'd especially be interested in anything involving her becoming a bigger part of Peter's life or the life of her family. Her and Peter developing a brother-sister relationship, her developing a bond with Aunt May, anything to do with her feelings for MJ (since she has Peter's memories). I have a slight preference for a world where Peter didn't die, but post-DOSM stuff is fine too.
New Young Justice (fanart by Gabzilla-Z): Lian Harper, Milagro Reyes
Milagro/Lian pre-shippy cuteness, please. Sweet, innocent first-love kind of fic. Something with Milagro cheering up an injured Lian would be great, as would their first date or anything like that.
Nothing about the DCnU saddens me more than the fact that Lian doesn't exist and Milagro is basically not a character yet. These two are my ultimate future OTP, and I'll be happy with anything involving them. As I said, keep it light and fluffy - I'd like them to be in their early teens, so nothing too intense. Feel free to use any of Damian, Iris, Colin, or any other DCU kids if you want to - I love them all - but Lian and Milagro are my faves. :)
Bolt (2008): Bolt, Mittens, Penny, Rhino
Post-movie fic, please! I want more of the adventures these four get up to in their new lives. Bonus points for Rhino Awesomeness.
Pretty much this! Genfic is much preferred - I don't ship Bolt/Mittens, but I don't hate it either. I'm okay with them going on a grand adventure, or them just having fun living a normal life in the country like they were at the end of the movie. But anything with the Awesome Foursome post-movie would be great.
Batgirl (Comic): Stephanie Brown, Courtney Whitmore
O hai there pairing I never knew existed and can't possibly live without. These two would make such an awesome couple, but friendshippy gen is fine too. Maybe Courtney is paying a visit to Gotham, injures her ankle on patrol, and gets rescued by BAMF!Steph?
UNF. What it says on the tin. I need this pairing like burning. This is another book that was interrupted by the DCnU, and there were hints that Steph and Courtney were going to become awesome BFFs. I'd love something following up on how they met, and just getting into their friendship/potential relationship. Beyond that, I'm totally into fluffy H/C, and Steph getting to be badass and rescue Courtney would be so awesome.
IDEK, I just want these two interacting and being awesome together. :D
