Yuletide Letter!
Dear Yuletide Writer:
First up, thank for signing up. I know this time of year is hectic, so the fact that someone is taking the time out of their day to write a fic for me is wonderful. :D And since you apparently love at least one of the same obscure fandoms I do makes it even better.
I'm honestly fairly easy to please. My likes and dislikes are fairly general.
Things I love: Fluff; happy domestic/kid fic; hurt/comfort and angst as long as it's balanced out with lots of comfort.
Things I prefer not to get: Graphic sex, kink, super dark fic, non-con, character death.
And now, on to the fandoms!
Blue Beetle: Milagro Reyes, Jaime Reyes
Future!Milagro, please. I want her growing up to be a badass young hero in her own right, maybe belonging to the future TT, and continuing to annoy the heck out of her big brother.
I'd like this pre-boot, please (this will be a theme, as much as I do enjoy the DCnU in some ways). But I'm a huge fan of the old Rogers series, and that's the Milagro and Jaime I'd love to read about. As for this fic, as long as it has Milagro as a teen hero (identity is up to you), I'll be happy. But if it's possible, I would be extra-special happy if she bickered with Damian or was BFFs/girlfriends with Lian Harper. This is by no means essential, just a bonus. Really, I'll be happy with any Milagro awesomeness. :)
Spider-Man (Ultimateverse): Peter Parker, Jessica Drew, Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson
After Death of Spider-Man, I'm in need of happyfic for this fandom. So, anything involving Peter and his family and friends, especially with Jessica as part of the family. Preferred pairings are Peter/MJ and Jess/Gwen, but other pairings or gen is fine too.
So, yeah. No offense to anyone who loves the new direction, but I'm putting Death of Spider-Man in the corner of ignore. I just want Peter Parker and his circle of friends to go on being happy forever. ;-: So for this fic, I'm really open to anything like that. I'd especially love Jessica being taken into the Parker household, and Peter showing her the ropes of being a normal teenager. I'd also be very happy with any couple-fluff, ideally with Peter/MJ and Jess/Gwen, but I love pretty much all potential USM pairings besides Peter/Jessica.
Young Justice (Comic): Cassie Sandsmark, Cissie King-Jones, Greta "Suze" Hayes
Femslash or gen is fine, but I love these three, and would love anything that calls back to the sweet friendship they had in the original comic.
I'd especially love anything set at Elias, or any fluffy hurt-comfort fic.
The Elias School for Girls is probably one of my all-time favorite settings in a comic. There was just so much fun potential there, and these three girls were all at the center of it. I'm open to most things involving these three - gen friendship, any pairing, OT3 - but if possible I'd prefer for it to be post-series, with Cissie retired and Greta human again. Pretty much anything you do with them will be awesome. Although I'd especially love the three of them having an adventure together, or Greta and Cissie helping Cassie out after she comes home from patrol injured.
Batgirl (Comic): Stephanie Brown/Courtney Whitmore
I did not even think about this pairing until Yuletide, and now I need it like burning. So, yeah, Steph/Court, but friendshippy Gen is totally fine too.
Maybe Courtney is paying a visit to Gotham, injures her ankle on patrol, and gets rescued by BAMF!Steph?
UNF. What it says on the tin. I need this pairing like burning. This is another book that was sort of interrupted by the DCnU, and there were hints that Steph and Courtney were going to become awesome BFFs. I'd love something following up on how they met, and just getting into their friendship/potential relationship. Beyond that, I'm totally into fluffy H/C, and Steph getting to be badass and rescue Courtney would be so awesome.
IDEK, I just want these two interacting and being awesome together. :D
