This weekend i was at Pitt, visiting Jaime. We are so lazy. but had a good time. The train sucked, i am still in so much pain from all the uncomfortable sitting and attempts at sleeping. The worst was when i got on the train sunday morning after the roughest night of drinking i've had in a long time. I didnt think i was so gonna make it that whole train ride with myself in tact. but i did. barely. But it was def. worth it. I had such a good time with Jaime. Her friends and roomates are the most fun....except for my friends and (old)roomates, obviously. :) So yea it was a good time.
Friday I got there at like 11 and the strangest thing happened...Julia Carroll was also meeting someone who was on my train, so she and Jaime greeted me at the station. It was so strange to see her, it's been since graduation. crazy. Anyway. so that was funny. Then we went back to jaime's and we got ready and went to crash the girls rugby formal. When we got there everyone was trashed and it was cool b/c someone was buying all the girls drinks on a tab. sweet. Jaime and i ended up having to take this poor drunk freshman back to towers. which was kind of funny (not that she was sick) because I havent been in Pittsburgh since my junior or senior year of high school, yet i knew where i was and all. b/c jaime had to go back to the formal to get this girl's id. so i walked her to towers and hung out in the lobby until jaime came back. we took her up to her room got her settled and then went off to this bar across the st. from jaimes house where the atwood allstars were playing....they're pretty much an all cheltenham band, it was nice to see jinx and scott. Then we hit up pizza and mickyDs yum.
Jaime was a doll and let me sleep til almost 1, then we got dressed and went to the bar. hehe. had a couple of beers and met her best friend from Pitt, Gretchen who is very much like me. which is funny b/c jaime said that but i didnt believe her til i met her. she's def. a cool girl :). ok so then we made mashed potatoes...we needed to feel productive...took them back to the bar for gretchen and played some bar games for a while. then jaime and i did what we do best...eat and watch sex and the city...for several hours- made a quick trip so we could have a mcdonalds picnic while watching satc of course. Finally we motivated ourselves to get ready for the supposed poker and porn evening pre-game plan, which didnt end up happening b/c we're all slow at getting ready. So we hit the bar for this promo for Captain Morgan's Tattoo-which is really good. it's like orange spiced rum. yum. We made friends with matt the promotions guy and now i have all sorts of fun free captain's gear :) and a lot lot lot of free alcohol. Jaime and i ended up passing out at some point. i honestly have no idea when, but the bar was still open...so maybe like 2ish? I have no clue. but we were lucky that we were able to (barely) get up and make it downtown to the station. an hour and 2 bottles of water later, the train was mad late and i had to pee. so either i was still drunk or just so hungover that i was completely retarded and def. went into the men's bathroom. it took me almost a minute to realize why something seemed wrong. I mean, when iwalked in i noticed the urinals,but i hadnt noticed there was more than 1 bathroom. so i'm standing there and i'm like. Hmmm....they are not supposed to be in here. I was like frozen in thoughtlessness for another like 30 seconds and then i'm like,maybe i should check the sign on the door, and of course when i check its the mens room. and then this old guy is like, "wrong one huh? i do that all the time." which was horrendous and i was laughing so hard i could hardly stand up straight, and jaime who was pretty much on the floor did not help at all and here i am hysterically laughing and trying to make it into the other bathroom, b/c laughing when one has to pee is not the greatest plan. anyway, needless to say it all worked out, but it was pretty fucking funny. and i will remember that for a long time to come. so thats pretty much it. the train was an hour late, as i had said and wasnt able to make up any time, so my parents left me a car at jenkintown =which required me to get on another train, after being on one for 8 hours. yes. so i finally get back and its snowing. ick. i didtn even bother to clean off the car. it wasnt that bad. then i got some dinner, came home and sat around not doing much of anything, watching some TV, eating and talking to people online. then i showered which was great. they say heaven is a nice house in the sky...:) but i think it's a really hot shower. yay. anyway, then my parents came home and my mom and i caught up on life over the weekend and i bummed around being a 21 year old loser on a sunday night of a holiday weekend. no fair that middlesex county college had no school today. i did. it sucked. not fair. :(
