I'm kind of spent. I can't wait to leave for pittsburgh tomorrow. i need to get out of here. I went downtown today to spend some time with Jordi, we got our hair done and then had some dinner and talked about may when i move in. We're going to try to convince mom and dad to let us have a car (when they buy a new one...to give us the white one). Fingers crossed on that one. It would make life so much easier, with me traipsing out to blue bell for usy shit and her going out to scranton every other weekend. I guess i never realized how i havent done much of anything relating to real life, or "fixing" myself. I'm still such a mess.
Two weekends ago, I went up to NB which was excellent and def. needed. I got there around 12:30 on friday and hung out with joanna (which hasnt happened in a while) and we ordered dominos. that new 555 thing. damn did we feel like pigs just the two of us getting 3 pizzas, a 2 liter of sprite, buffalo kickers and cheesey bread. but christine got a pizza and chrissie ate as well. so i guess we're not THAT bad. hehe. So then friday night Karolena came up and me chrissie kar and jeremy had dinner, during which the carbon monoxide detector went off. uh oh. we all thought we were about to die, but of course remembered to bring out our wine and cigarettes. hehe. anyway, so the fire department had to come and make sure we weren't breathing in toxic fumes. which we werent, so everything was fine. tine came home from work, joanna ran off with chris and tine, kar, chrissie jeremy and i went off to old bay. (at like 1130.) It was ladies nite, 1/2 price drinks, however the guys that were buying us drinks *all sorts of green shots like melon balls etc(for the eagles pride of course)* were paying full price. stupid boys. anyway, so i think i spent like 40 bucks and had several....captain n cokes and a few too many shots. needless to say by 130 both karolena and i needed to be carted home. tho i didnt puke. i did fall tho. eh...it happens. anyway, so saturday we went to breakfast at the diner. oh old times. and i drank like a pitcher of water. chrissie and i finally made it to Jenn's engagement party at the palisades mall (in west nyack ny) about 2 hours late. (would you expect any different). but we had a pretty good time and i feel like this will be our first wedding experience together. interesting.
Anyway, then we got the whole crew together (minus karolena but plus aviva and wil) and went off to bertuccis so the girls could meet miriam...and it's also where joanna works now.
so that was good times, then back to the apartment and off i went back to PA.
i'm living off fumes of good times...hopefully will have enough this weekend to last me til i can get out to NB next time.
Can't believe our 22nds are coming up. Karolena's is this month, chrissie in march, me in may...tine's already been 22 since Oct. Damn we're getting old.
one day when we're 50 we'll be sitting around smoking and drinking (and breathing thru our oxygen tanks) remembering all the fun times we had when we should have been going to class.
