I always think it's the funniest thing when fans get angry at male characters being portrayed as emotional/prone to crying in fandom, regardless of whether or not they are either of those things in canon. Whenever I'm asked what my absolute favorite movie is, I'll usually answer Hitchcock's Psycho or The Shawshank Redemption, and while those are favorites of mine, when I look deep into my heart and get right down to it, it's honestly the 2002 Spider-Man.

I saw that movie seven times in theaters.
