PhD Program decision
I made a decision. Part of the decision was inspired by the fact that I've had two months to think about it and I need to get my ass in grear god-dammit. So I filled out the forms (to offically accept my acceptance and financial support) for Stony Brook, wrote and printed the cover letter, and put it all in an envelope and sealed it. It will go out tomorrow along with the Dr. Who DVD.
It's kind of funny that one of the things that really made me feel better about the decision was finding a hotline in NY to volunteer for. It's a really cool program called The Trevor Project. It's a suicide hotline for LGBT youths who are 4 times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers.
So the decision is over...Stony Brook University here I come (well in August).
