Something of an audit, Miss Victoria has asked me to inform her as to where the holes in her force are, so I've been taking a look at how it operates. As morbid as this may sound, the recent string of crime has done well to inform me who mobilizes to assess the threats.

Really? Interesting. I was informed that I had been a member of the force previously, but it's interesting to be called a current members 'predecessor'. After all, my absence was the type that removes all memory of the City. If I need any information on your unit, I will be sure and contact you.

I must impress upon you how absolutely imperative it is that you cease and desist the slander and stay away from Lieutenant Hawkeye. If you choose to ignore this warning, you run the risk of having your name at the top of my hit list. Consider, Kimblee, if that's really something you want.
As a Colonel of the Amestris military, I would have to agree. However, I, Roy Mustang, the person, will do whatever it takes to protect the people--that would include Lieutenant Hawkeye--from whatever threatens them. You happen to be such a threat; eliminating you would only be fulfilling the oath I took as a state alchemist.

Ah, yes, I think your name has come up a few times. I'm also working with the police force at the moment.
I'm a floor above you, in that case. For obvious reasons, I'm hesitant to give the full apartment number so long as the line remains insecure.

I believe you'll find building 9 to be quite large. There are over a hundred apartments within, it would take a lot of motivation to search each one.
