Devil May Cry
I've brought up the subject of Devil May Cry before on this blog. It's my favorite video game series (though I'll play 2, I pretend it doesn't exist in context to canon most of the time and I among those that pretend the reboot doesn't exist period), and number three is my favorite. No shit. Vergil is my icon again. I've written fanfiction for it, even though my early attempts are laughable now.
Why do I bring this up again?
Of course because I'm writing and reading fanfiction again instead of doing school work (which is a beast I regret returning to). What else? InuYasha really hasn't been turning my gears lately. I've updated The Ballad of Rin a couple times, and worked on it (supposedly its my NaNo but I'm kind of cheating there by also counting my Devil May Cry writings into the word count. Honestly, I don't care. I haven't written anything for fun in months; if NaNo is kickstarting the creative process again, then all my words go to that).
I want to talk about Devil May Cry (and I also want to write one of my new stories for it but it's 2am and I need to go to bed so I won't continue that just yet). Let's talk about my tastes when it comes to fandom. First off, I want to read about Vergil, plain and simple. That's also what I want to write, so I guess that's good. I prefer no romance at this moment, but then again I haven't been in a very romantic mood lately. I'll tolerate Dante/Nero (actually the only pairing I've read at the moment, so I guess I like it), and I like the idea of Dante/Lady, Nero/Kyrie. I don't really like Dante/Trish (kind of creepy in my book), and I really don't know where I stand when it comes to Dante/Vergil. I know where I stand Vergil/Nero though, and that's a no. I'm on the father-son bandwagon myself, or even if they're not blood-related, them developing a father-son relationship (of course when it comes to Vergil, father-son is a pretty loose term, more like mild endearment).
That's about it. I really just wrote this to get my mind off My Brother's Keeper, the story I've been working on today.
