There are a few workers still on hand to make any last minute repairs, but the dorms are open and students can start moving back in.

It was finishing touches day. The construction would be all done after this. Tomorrow, the dorm would be reopened.

Pippi was behind the bar dressed like a pirate.

The band likewise were dressed the same... Well, not exactly the same.

The construction crews had handwavily worked hard all weekend and the dorm was getting close to being ready for moving in.

There was still a lot of detail work to be done though.

There are new crew members today -- ones that are there to start making things look good again. Drywall, paint, carpet, etc.

It's the last day for residents to check out their belongings before everything is hauled off to the dump.

Pippi opened up the bar. With all these construction workers in town, it seemed like opening a smidge early was wize.

The workers were making noticeable progress today. Residents could stop by to check out their rooms again if they wanted.

A nondescript Taurus pulls up to the motel from which emerges a nondescript hot guy munching on an apple. Well, perhaps not completely nondescript, he's wearing slacks and a bowling shirt that says "Bowl Till You Bleed" in red drippy looking lettering. Yesterday the crew made sure the structure was safe enough to allow residents to enter and search through their rooms for any belongings that might have survived.

They would have to wear hardhats, of course. And there would still be work going on around them.
