It would have been a very easy mistake to make, upon walking into the Coven at some point that Sam was up front, to assume he'd regressed to a childlike state or some such issue involving juvenile behavior; he was, after all, surrounded by a ridiculous number of stuffed animals ( Read more... )

"Because they were supposed to arrive today, so I had 'em shipped here," Sam said patiently, and picked up a plush hedgehog that he made dance on the front of the host's station.

"Because I was here!" Sam made a teddy bear cross its arms and look at her indignantly. "How else was I gonna sign for them?"

"There are other people at your house who could have," Piper replied, reaching for a stuffed bunny. "They are cute, though."

"Aren't they?" he asked with a grin, and picked up another stuffed bunny that he made hop over and wave at Piper's. "I was sort of going to sneak them back to the house a few at a time, since Cole and Phoebe don't exactly know I ordered this many."

"They're not for me!" Sam flattened the stuffed bunny's ears in affront. "They're for the girls. You want them to be happy, don't you?"

"Well, so am I," Sam pointed out, and made a plush puppy and a plush mouse nod in agreement.

Piper made the plush kitten nod as well. She must have been out of her mind for a moment there. "If the puppy and kitten can agree, then I guess I can agree with you. Just this once."

She was grinning as she said it, though.
