Der Waffle Haus - Friday Night
Like a proper gentleman Jack held the door as he escorted Meg on into the dinner. The scent of waffles, eggs and bacon filled the air but in a pleasant, comfort sort of way that made Jack smile.
He scoped out a booth and then placed a hand gently against the small of Meg's back to guide her in that direction, he even waited till she was seated before shrugging out of his great coat and taking the seat across from her.
"So, I can totally recommend the waffles and the steak and eggs aren't bad either," Jack offered as he folded his hands neatly in front of him and nodded to the waitress to bring her over for a drink order.
