Он приехал в Белград на матч с Корчным несмотря на особый запрет делать это со стороны Госдепа. На прессконференции в Белграде корреспондент задал вопрос Фишеру, получил он предупреждение или нет. В ответ Фишер достал из кармана эту бумажку, развернул, плюнул на нее, порвал и выбросил.

He arrived in Belgrade for a match with Korchnoi in spite of the specific prohibition to do so by the State Department. At a press conference in Belgrade, a correspondent asked Fisher, whether he received the warning or not. In response, Fisher took out this piece of paper, unfolded it, spat at it, tore it up and threw away.
