I love you
you where the sun in my sky
the waves in my ocean
and the wind in the cool grass in the summer time.
I loved you like an apple has it's leaves
how a dog likes to run though a field.
but no,
you turn your back and forget;
about me.

Did you really feel guilty when you kissed her lips?
did your brain tell you no when you sang to her in the small light of the moon.
I guess I'm the rebound girl, for when SHE'S not around.

YOU don't love me
YOU don't feel for me like I feel for you.
all you did was throw a bunch of lies in my face
and watch me eat them up
wile you play your little game.

I know you want her.
you LOVE her.
and you know what? I can see,
that you would NEVER be happy
with a girl like me.
