I think my head is trying to implode. This is not good. I have work today. I haven't been sleeping well. Somebody please go to work for me? *hides under covers and whimpers*

So, I have a car now. Yes. A car of my very own. It was a gift from my cousin since she just got a new one for her birthday. It's a light blue Ford Taurus. I named it Tau'ri (Yes, after Stargate. After having gone to bed at 4am, I woke up to Mom screaming my name from across the house. Dad had passed out and appareently stopped breathing and she needed the cordless phone because the wall phone barely reached. My tummy does not feel shiny, and I don't know why. Could be the epic belgian waffle I had fro breakfast yesterday, or the red vines and icee I had at Star Trek, or the theatre screen... I dunno... but my tummy is not happy. I feel sort of motion sick or something. *curls up with pillow over head* Meh.

Well, I feel better today. Still a little lethargic and a little achey, but I'm going to try to go in to work. It's only for four hours so it shouldn't be too bad (hopefully).

Really what I want to do is go curl up in bed and go back to sleep. Meh.

I have not felt right since Friday evening. Now I've gotten the headache from hell (shampoo in eye did not help) and I just feel run dow and like I'm trying to do everything under water. *curls up* is bedtime now?

Um... leftover Chinese food followed by getting only 4 hours of sleep has left me with what I can only guess feels like a hangover. I'm tired, achy,  my head hurts, my stomach is woozy and my throat is all dry and sore. I feel a lot worse than the time that I was awake for 36 hours ( Read more... )

I don't want to go to work tomorrow, but I have to fill out my timesheet and turn in a request for leave for vizit!tiem. I feel a sore throat coming on, and it may have something to do with me staying up really late (3-4 am)every night; then not sleeping in any later than 9am (after going to bed at midnight) while I was in California before coming ( Read more... )

My head was hurting really bad last night, so I took one Tylenol PM. I kid you not, within 15 minutes I was practically asleep. And that was with only half the dosage.

This morning, Dad called to say that they might keep Mom at the hospital another night depending on how she's feeling. He also said that the doctors thought that we should both get ( Read more... )

So I just got a call from Dad, and  I guess the doctors at the hospital are saying that Mom has a hella nasty case of the flu. They're keeping her overnight because her oxygen levels keep dropping. So, she's doing okay, but she's feeling really bad.

Dad thinks he mght stay home from work tomorrow.
