I'm in over my head. This semester is going to be absolutely insane. I think it will overall be REALLY fun, but I might kill myself in the process. Two of my classes are really easy: C++ and Navigating Cyberspace. Unfortunately....that constitutes the entirety of two days of the week (ie: very little inspiration to go to campus at all, other than the whole must pass the class thing)
TTH are insane. I'm taking Automata Theory, which is really really interesting (already, I know), but I have NONE of the pre-reqs for it. So, we're getting into discrete math that I have never seen before in my life, and it's rather overwhelming. But, I understand everything during lectures, so hopefully homework and lectures will catch up with each other eventually.
Phonology is...well....phonology. Upper Division writing component. I'm not very good at phonetics, hopefully this one goes better. It's still an hour and a half of stuff that I'm not terribly interested in, but I have to pay attention or I will not understand it at all.
NLP is a lot like Automata Theory, in that I'm in over my head. However, this is more a realm I understand, and am really interested in, so hopefully hard work will pay off in here.
My monday 3-6 class involves tons of reading, but will be mostly discussions and presentations during class, so I'm not too worried. It hasn't met yet though, so no real opinion there.
My opinions may change as the semester wears on, but I'm excited!!
Plus, I'm getting braces again >_<
