Wetpaint Entertainment talked to Alison while she was at Sundance - pay attention to the ending.
Now that Community Season 4 finally has an official start date - Thursday, February 7 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC - we’re eager to reunite with the hijinks and hilarity of Greendale Community College’s least productive but most lovable study group.
Luckily, Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with star Alison Brie at Sundance Film Festival during Paige Hospitality Group's Annual Football Viewing Party Sponsored by Element Electronics, held at Sky Lodge Hotel’s Sky Blue lounge in Park City, Utah. Pop pop!
Wetpaint Entertainment: How is Community getting along since creator Dan Harmon’s departure?
I’ve not seen any of the episodes yet, but we as a cast worked really hard to take ownership of our characters and keep them the same and keep adding those idiosyncratic things that we’ve found as a cast and keep them in the episodes. It’s really our hope that things don’t feel any different.
And how will the exit of Chevy Chase [who plays Pierce] be handled?
I have no idea. You know, I love Chevy. It was really fun working with him, and it really won’t affect this season of the show because we had shot most of the episodes before all that happened. After that, the future of the show is unknown, so I can’t really speculate on anything that far down the road.
Jeff and Annie - will it happen?
Something’s going to happen … so stay tuned!
