Hey, I just finished all 6 seasons of community and I just cant have enough of it!! I even searched for a lot of the bloopers/outtakes as well as the webisodes that are available on youtube. I watched a lot of the cast interviews... I started reading the fanfics too!

I am literally obsessed with this show! Especially in the current virus situation

Welcome! It's so great seeing new people discover the show, and better yet (for this community anyway), fall in love with Jeff/Annie. Like I told the person before you, I only wish you'd been part of the community when the show was still on the air because that's when we had the most participation. We had so many discussions back then!

I agree that the show probably would've done better today. I watch the Thursday night comedies (Superstore, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Will & Grace) and NBC is satisfied with lower ratings than when Community was on air.

I've always believed we'd get a movie someday and I still do. At the very least most of the cast (minus Chevy and Donald) is still very enthusiastic about the show and get along great, so that's hopeful. I don't know if you saw Alison on Joel/Ken's podcast the other day, but it was hilarious.

I know... it's a missed opportunity to be so late to the community!

It's not just that NBC is satisfied with lower ratings, but also I think the audience today appreciate meta-humor, easter eggs, and all other weird things that Community offered. It would've been a much more successful show if it aired nowadays imo.

I personally would prefer another season, but I know that it is unlikely. And a movie is looking likelier now.

I discovered it during lockdown too, binged it and now binging slower the second time. Love Jeff and Annie and I think the ending left it open for them to get together after the summer internship is over.
