new obsession
Hey, I just finished all 6 seasons of community and I just cant have enough of it!! I even searched for a lot of the bloopers/outtakes as well as the webisodes that are available on youtube. I watched a lot of the cast interviews... I started reading the fanfics too!
I am literally obsessed with this show! Especially in the current virus situation, this show really helped me stay positive in the current situation.
In my opinion, this show is a bit ahead of its time (streets ahead? lol), meaning that the meta weirdness and all that might actually be better received now rather than 10 years ago. I think, if community aired nowadays, it might actually receive better ratings, which would mean it could air for a long, long time.
Plus, if this show aired during prime streaming era (like right now), I think there would be a higher chance for it to get picked up by other streaming services. This would have benefited this show, especially because streaming services dont really place a lot of restrictions, which I think would let the show explore even crazier things.
I am REALLY into the j/a relationship, and the way it ended made me really sad... because they never actually got together. The chemistry between them is crazyyy!
I keep wondering a lot of "what ifs.." (for example what if dan harmon stayed for s4, maybe j/a would get a happier ending)
(Still hoping for AT LEAST a movie to bring them back togeher!! The grand dream would be if Netflix decided to make a "reboot" of the show.)
Since community is currently one of the most watched shows on netflix, I cant help but hope that it will cause a loud enough reaction that netflix would try to bring them all back :((
