So I guess Joel was on something called Triple J....(radio show? Podcast?) and made comments to the effect of that there may be a couple Community episodes down the line, unconnected to a season and stated that he believes a movie will happen. Not certain on the validity here....

He actually said the same thing on this interview: http://www.9jumpin.com.au/show/mornings/videos/4597254613001/

In this one, he kind of elaborated a bit. He said that realistically, another "season" couldn't be more than four or five episodes because the cast is so busy. He specifically cited Alison as someone who's on the road to a big movie career and who is also on a hit television show (I assume he means Bojack Horseman), who'd have a hard time carving out time in her schedule for a 13 episode season, let alone a full 22 episode season ( ... )

That was a fun interview. Morning talk show people the world over seem to love him. Yeah....pretty much what was attributed to him saying on Triple J. He does point out that what he's talking about is all conjecture and yet with his insider knowledge with both Sony and Dan, it's realistic to think that this may have been talked about by the powers that be.

I mean we've talked about this before. A shortened season or a handful of longer episodes, ala Sherlock, leading into a movie. I still think that while remaining positive is good, it's gonna be a while before DH feels like getting back into the creative headspace he needs to, in order to do any more Community properly.

Triple J is a nationally distributed radio station. Tend to be geared toward millennials and below.

Oh thanks. Is it nationally distributed in the U.S. or elsewhere?
