Kanon Wakeshima
this is a lil late, but 2 weeks ago i went to Kanon Wakeshima's mini live and autograph signing at the Royal/T cafe
ssoo after summer school that day me, jaz, and ess head over to my house. after hanging around for a bit we go to kfc and have some food. for some reason i had to make like 10 trips to the counter to get stuff xP jaz wanted to stop at cvs to get some hair dye, but i was like XP [SHE REALLY WANTS TO DYE MY HAIR!!!! BUT IM TOO SCARED TO LET HER D8] we went back to my house and got ready [it took like a bagillion hours D8] i needed to re-flat iron my hair since it was a little frizzy, ess curled her hair, and jaz kinda just sat there being bored XD when i finished, then she straightened her hair, using interesting methods O_o and then we decided to curl my hair XD jaz wanted to do it, but i wouldnt let her near me with a hot curling iron, so ess did it XD all the while we blasted music, like GEE [COME ON YOU GOTTA LOVE THAT SONG XD]so we finally were ready to goo
So me and my friends get to the cafe about 30 min before the show starts and there is already a big line. i saw elfys there [she was working, but lucky for her it was a pretty mellow day, no running in heels xD] and racheal [who was there on a secret mission, but she didnt tell me wat it was D8 LOL] after taking some pictures, buying some merchandise, and looking at her artwork, time passes and they finally let us in. we go to the back of the cafe into this room where there is a really small stage [its more like a well lit corner of the room xD] i was in the 3rd row [sorta, it s always hard to tell] but there were tall people in front of me so it was a lil hard to see XP
ssooo Kanon walks in wearing her red dress, and this black cloak thingy with a BIG Renaissance style ruffle collar. Her first song was Still Doll. It was really cool, she was doing this robot/doll like movements, she really looked like a doll 8D IT WAS COOL!!! lol. she played cello very nicely too! after she had a short MC. lol it was sssoo cute, she stated random facts. like her favorite food is spaghetti, and she has a cat that is still a kitten xD she was absolutely adorable ^_^
after her MC she sang Suna no Oshiro. performance wise, i think this was one of the best. hearing the first verses sung rather then whispered was cool. she also played cello amazingly!
she stayed at her cello and played Shinku no Fatalism, which was also very good.
we clapped along to L'espoir, and we did the same for Skip turn Step. ^_^ i LOVE that song, and i was very happy she sang it. she did a wonderful job of that song too.

after the performance, we all got inline for the autograph session. of course i had my cd ready xD so finally its our turn. i walk up and the first thing she says is kawaii @_@[btw i was wearing sweet lolita] at that moment, she boosted my confidence, lol i was sssoo happy. then she signed my cd and said thank you ^_^ lol an of course her and her roadies went crazy over the fanart that jaz made for her [i told her that Kanon would love it, but she didnt believe me XP]
after all that, me, jaz, and our other friend ess went back to my house and watched the Maru Music dvd vol. 2
