I've seen some shows recently.
RADICAL FACE at Lincoln Hall
I only recently became acquainted with Radical Face, and I had no idea that the lead singer was an actual Gay Bear. Go figure. I still like his music. ;) A group of us met on Thursday night after work, had a few drinks, listened to the show, and had a great time.
I actually liked Radical Face more than the show on Saturday night, which was probably a little surprising.
Margaret Cho at the Chicago Theatre
A pretty much different group of friends together on Saturday night for dinner and then saw Margaret Cho. I haven't seen her live before, and I don't see her on TV all that much. That being said, she had a good set but there was a fair amount of recycled material. Since I never see her perform and don't keep track much of her activities this didn't pose a problem for me. As it goes, if her materials seemed retread from my perspective, I suppose it must have been REALLY repetitive for someone that was more of a fan.
That being said, she was funny, and she interacted very comfortably with the randomness from crowd. She's very sharp and very, very raw in her language. Retreading old material or not, she was quite funny.
I still liked the Radical Face show more. So there, Margaret Cho!
Last but not least, I finally finished processing the photos from the San Francisco / Monterey Trip.
Pelican on the breeze.
I have just been running around a lot the last two weeks and didn't get a chance to finish going through all my photos until this last Sunday. You can see the full set by

The photo editing was made a little easier by a recent acquisition. I've had dual monitors for years. Currently I'm using a 1920x1200 28" monitor as my primary and had a little 22" secondary monitor that just burned out. So on Sunday I picked up
this. 2560x1440 and 27" of love. Very nice to edit with it.
Another busy week at work. WHOOOO! Hope you are all doing well.
