Here are pics of us, taken before and after we left for "Dracula's Ball" in Philadelphia. The outdoor ones were shot at approximately 6:45 pm, the indoor ones at 2:35 a.m.

Thanks again, Tish! David looked ESPECIALLY scary. His makeup, IMO, was very subtle and all the more effective. When we first entered the party, one of the securiy men frisked me (required), and said "Drakul". Nice, no? A few people referred to me as "Dracula", so I was thrilled!
Blimey! Those are the BEST vampire costumes I have ever seen, and they seem to fit you both like a second skin! It's a shame you two both live so far away...I imagine you'd make for great models.
Bless your heart, but I'm too bulky to be a model! The waistline isnt what it USED to be. Maybe I should order a corset from Drac in a Box (which, incidentally, my shirt and frock coat came from, Carmilla designed the coat). But thank you! I do have something of a "vampire fetish"....

I am afraid I have to disagree there. Weight should never apply to proper models. You are both two gorgeous men...trust me, if only I were up and about...I'd get myself over there with my camera.
The funny thing is, I'm not exactly sure why they are so dark. My parents both had brown eyes, but my mother's were a medium brown, and my father's were almost hazel, a kind of horn colour. My sister Aileen has violet "Elizabeth Taylor" coloured eyes, and my sister Robin's are very much like Carmilla's. I've been told I have a tendency to stare, but maybe that's my being an artist and voyeur!
