Renaissance Faire
On a completely frivolous note (just to get our minds off Katrina for a few hours and the memory of 9/11), David and I went to the Renaissance Faire this past Saturday. Attendance hasnt been so great at the faire this summer, due to the intense heat and who-knows-what-else, but we saw our friends and had some great conversations. I also gave my friends the McNeals (owners of "Crown and Feather" hats) some leads to fabric stores and some corset patterns, as they are going to start a line of "Pirate" garb....
