He died pretty much an unknown in 1974, and unbenknownst to me, his three albums have gone on to become classics to music lovers around the world. I have heard of him, but never took a close listen until one of his tunes popped up on my Pandora player. The purity of his voice, his unique style of playing, his lyrics and song writing, all beyond reproach. It's a shame the world lost him so young, but most of the best artists are tortured souls anyway. Take a listen,
